When I used to live back home (Bosnia).. I used to use Nivea.. my skin wasn't as oily then. But now, I don't know, I'm just not a fan of greasy creams as beneficial as they can be... especially at night, where my face is sticking to the pillow (I'm a side sleeper, and have been trying to train myself to sleep on the back simply for this reason.. so the creams won't rub off)My bf actually ONLY uses nivea on his face, and his skin looks flawless.. I get jealous.So you might be onto something here..
